Subject: Lyr Req: Asbestos & Shadrach, Meschach & Abednego From: The Singing Organ Grinder Date: 16 May 18 - 08:47 AM My mum (London/Bristol/East Africa...) used to sing something like: Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego Annoyed the King of Egypt, who told them they must go He sent them down to Hell, but none of them got hurt Cos the Lord provides his children with an asbestos shirt. Is there any more of it? Does anyone know what the tune's called? (I've put up an MP3 here: http://elorganillero.com/downloads/mudcat/shadrach.mp3) |

Yours is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadrack_(Robert_MacGimsey_song), but mine is something else. |

"...and they began to laugh"in about 1960(cubs), so I assumed everyone knew it! |
