I've been watching this song on Youtube and trying to transpose the chords to the Key of "C", but I'm having problems with the the mid setion key change chords.

Any ideas oh great guitar wizards of Mudcat?

Steady on, Bugsy.

I have always liked the chirpy cockney duo... clever lyrics and engaging tunes.

I've always been a fan of there music murray, and though it may be new music, it's in the mode of London "Folk" music   just as much to me as new "Folk" music from other regions of Britain.

I'd like to see them at a folk festival sometime.

(Now watch me get hacked down in flames)

Cheers

I think we ought to have a copy of the lyrics without the intra-line chords. This will be easier to find with a search. Also, I have carefully checked these lyrics by listening to the actual recording on Spotify:

BETTER GET YOUR SHOES ON
As recorded by Chas & Dave on "One Fing N Anuvver" (1995)

VERSE: Go now; you're gettin' me down.
I know you've been messin' 'round.
You been makin' more than makin' eyes.
The time has come for us to part.
I can't take no more, sweetheart.
Oh I — can't live a lie (and I ain't gonna try).

CHORUS: So you better get your shoes on.
You better get a move on.
Don't let nobody change your mind.
Yeah, you better get your shoes on.
You better get a move on.
You can take what's yours, but you better leave what's mine.

BRIDGE: When I get home, you're nowhere around.
You're honky-tonkin' all around town.
I try to call you but you're nowhere to be found.
(I try to call you but you're nowhere to be found.)
I can't take no more from you, sweetheart.
You won't tear me apart any more.

[Repeat chorus, verse, and chorus.]

TAG: Oh, get your shoes on, move on, before you send me out of my mind.
