Yes, I remember Dean he was in London in the late 1950's and used to show up on Saturday nights at the Ballads and Blues Club as did Sandy and Caroline Paton, Rambling Jack Elliot, Ralph Rinzler, Guy Carawan, Winston and Mary Jane Young and a number of other visitors from across the pond.
Takes me back.

Anyone remember DEAN GITTER???

He is mentioned on a number of threads relating
to songs from his 1957 GHOST BALLADS Riverside album.

Interesting article about him on WIKI

Now in his 80's, he has a couple of new albums:
Old Folkies Never Die
Carl Sandburg's American Songbag 2.0

a bunch of tracks on youtube.

Nice to hear someone whose work I enjoyed nearly 60 years
ago still at it.
Thanks!
Thomas.
