I'm in Bath for work next week - I'll be around in the evening (& almost certainly at a loose end) Tuesday to Thursday.

Anything going on on those nights that anybody knows of?

You will have just missed the Fringe Festival unfortunately, but Ange Hardy is at Chapel Arts in Lower Borough Walls next Thursday.

Jeezis, you're in bath for a week?

I only get mindful to do it once or twice a month and it still only takes a hour or so.

check out Bath Chapel Arts Cafe - they apparently have a Wed Irish session 5-7pm. Their evening booked acts are amazingly eclectic and knowledgeably Folkie at times.

otherwise try my map page map.mister.red - click on Bath or Bristol but check the datestamp - some data are old and there are no guarantees. Ring if gong any distance.

Folk in Bath?...

Don't see why not,
as long as you don't risk any precious expensive instruments that need to be kept well away from water...

Definitely not any reed & bellows instruments that you play at lap/waist level...

Electric instruments of any kind would be lethal

Best stick to acoustic instruments you can play up at shoulder level,
but steam may still be an issue...

Folk in Shower?... best stick with cheap plastic instruments,
& don't drop the soap if it's a communal shower...

and Jacuzzi/Hot Tub?... well why not give it a go.. we're all mature adults...

Wet or dry conditions.. There's an additional problem playing squeezeboxes in the nude...
