Subject: RE: A Celtic Sojourn radio program From: FreddyHeadey Date: 09 Jun 18 - 03:15 PM Well it started to freeze up then play an advert\a few bars of music\freeze... When I refreshed the page it started to play today's programme 9 June 2018. I see it is indeed 3pm in Boston https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/boston |
Subject: RE: A Celtic Sojourn radio program From: Elmore Date: 09 Jun 18 - 03:07 PM I have the same problem. Maybe I'll e-mail WGBH, later today, to find out what's going on. However, I believe Brian is doing a remote from the BPL today. |
Subject: RE: A Celtic Sojourn radio program From: FreddyHeadey Date: 09 Jun 18 - 03:03 PM Actually I see on every page there is a vertical threedotmenu just below the top left WGBH logo. When I tap that it gives Celtic Soujourn"12.00 AM" as one of the options to play. https://www.wgbh.org and the link there is playing the same programme. Currently definitely the broadcast from 2 June 2018 - :-) for me anyway, in the UK(~19.00 GMT 9th June) Still don't see any way to go back\forward. Or a play list. |
Subject: RE: A Celtic Sojourn radio program From: FreddyHeadey Date: 09 Jun 18 - 02:21 PM idk\am confused. On their schedule page https://www.wgbh.org/schedule?date=2018-06-09&type=radio&channel=89.7+WGBH the link for Celtic Soujourn goes to a page dated 11th January, https://www.wgbh.org/celtic/2018/01/11/a-celtic-soujourn-radio but when I click to play it ... the presenter is mentioning events coming up in August \ June 13th. I don't see any way to skip back\forward ? |
Subject: A Celtic Sojourn radio program From: CupOfTea Date: 09 Jun 18 - 12:57 PM I have long been a fan of Brian O'Donovan's show A Celtic Sojourn on WGBH in Boston. For a couple years I've been listening to a stream of it on Saturday mornings at work, from an archive of programs that go back weeks, so even if I have a Saturday off, I can get caught up. The last month, I've not been able to find a link to this. Short sets from performers, or Christmas specials, but not the weekly broadcast in any form other than listening live, in real time (which is not when I CAN listen). Does anyone know what the deal is? Do I need to belong to WGBH to get these? Subscribe in someway? I'm missing it most acutely, as there's precious little locally to listen to of that quality.
