Not so long ago, Mudcat had a thread about a poem by Sir Walter Scott. In the poem, a harper stands in the cold outside a fine home and wants in. The last words were "Gentle hearts and gentle kin, let a weary harper in."

I composed a tune for it, made the sheet music, added the chords and lyrics - and now I can't find it. I need to know the date of the thread and the exact name of the poem so I can search better.

Can anybody resurrect the thread? I can't find it.

Jeri, you are a champion. Searching my computer for 'minstrel' turned up my work, song, lyrics, chords and all. Bless you.
