I must admit, I've never listened closely to these lyrics before, and I'm finding rock music can be deeper than I thought—both this and VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR. I still can't quite imagine somebody singing this is a folksy style, but maybe somebody's clever enough to make it work.
