I used Martin bronze wound strings in the sixties. I found an unopened set in a drawer. Would these still be good?If not,what strings for a Gibson J40 to get richest sound?

Except, there may be wealthy OCD martin collectors out there
willing to pay silly money for a vintage unopened set
of more than likely corroded strings...?????
