After four largely happy years at the Bear the Bradford on Avon English music session is moving. The Bear is changing hands and so as of Monday 30th July we are moving to the Swan Hotel in the centre of Bradford on Avon. We had a couple of sessions there during the World Cup when the Bear was showing matches so we already know the fit will be a good one.

Now we're looking forward to celebrating the session's 14th birthday in September!

Many thanks for that. It should go well. The BoA session has been thriving the last year or so and the couple of sessions we've had there have been popular with the musicians.

The Swan is in the centre of Bradford and has a carpark round the back, entrance just off the bridge. Be aware they have a numberplate recognition system so if you use it you'll need to book your car in on a screen at the bar - it's less complicated than it sounds.

anyone there remember an old friend of mine, dave two hats angus? i know he used to play there sometimes until his sad death about 10 years back - he liked to see the world through a round window.

The Swan closed ~September 2023
