1. Well met my loving friends of art, let us in concert sing
And let each bear his vocal part and tuneful voices ring.
Each join with me his well-tun'd harp in concert sweet I say

2. Let Will and John the Tenor sound and sing melodiously,
Whilst Ben and Joe the Bass do ground to make sweet harmony.
Let James and George sing Counter sweet in chords that softly play,
To move all parts, soft and complete, we'll sing so, la, me, fa.

3. Remember holy David well in music's art was vers'd,
His voice and harp could fashions quell, for Saul he dispossess'd.

4. Within the temple, Solomon in music took delight
He voices had, to join as one, two hundred eighty eight.
Then may we ever take delight in music's art all way
