Here's an antidote to "Never Ending Love" - Bonnie damning Delaney with "Your Kind Of Kindness:

Bonnie Bramlett Your Kind Of Kindness

Thanks for the info, Will. Interesting stuff.

I'm surprised they did not have a bigger following in the US. I remember that "Never ending love" song though. Not one of their better moments.

In these (dis)United States,
Delaney and Bonnie had a hit single
that started with the words,

I've got a never-ending love for you ...

With Clapton, there was a hit single,
Only You Know and I Know.

Bonnie Bramlett's a great singer - her time with Delaney only lasted 5 years, from 1967 to 1972. She made many solo albums after that. Her daughter became a singer and replaced Stevie Nicks in Fleetwood Mac.

Sorry, just realised it is not an album but a playlist I am listening to! Made up of D&B together, Rhino Hi-Five and Accept no Substitute.

Bloody Google! I thought I was taking the kids to Alton Towers and wondered why it took so long

Good band. One of Clapton's better moments I think

While Spotify surfing some old Eric Clapton stuff I was reminded of his involvement with Delaney and Bonnie during his Blind Faith period. I am now listening to the album of the same name as above and really enjoying it. They were only well known really in the UK for 'Coming Home' and 'Groupie (Superstar)'. Were they better known in the US?

Out of interest I also discovered that Bonnie was born in Alton, Illinois. One of the few places in the States that I have visited!
