I will be in the UK in December mainly to do a gig in Coventry on 4th of December, as this will probably be the last time I perform in the UK it would be nice if there were a couple of other dates around the same time, if anyone has an idea please let me know.

Ah, come on, guys! At least ask Pat when he's going to be where!

As he said, it's the last time he'll be appearing in Blighty/Pommyland.

From the OP Gurney I have deduced by what Pat Cooksey has clearly stated that come the 4th December, 2018 (That is the when) he will be playing A GIG (only one) in Coventry (That is the where) and that it might probably be his last performance in the UK. I hope not, but I am not aware of what may or may not drive that decision. I will not be able to make that gig but if it is Pat's last performance in the UK I sincerely hope that it is truly memorable and enjoyable for all.

Yes, well, Coventry would be an automatic gig, since it was for long years his/our home town, but are there no clubs in the Midlands who could use a guest of his stature?

Sorry for the confusion guys, Coventry ishere I started nearly 50 years ago, it was also the place where some of my early songs were written, The Sick Note being one, which I first sung in 1969. I have many friends there still so the offer of a gig we combined with a visit to the old haunts. I have lived here in Germany for 20 years and am very content having played gigs all over Europe, America, Australia, and New Zealand, I do not seek gigs anymore but if anyone is interested for the first 10 days of December let me know. When I say it will probably be my last time doing gigs in England it is simply that after 50 years I'm getting a bit lazy and if I wan't to play I can do it here.
