A new album from Jake Book seems like a good time to salute his non-nonsense DIY record label Historic Recordings. Mostly his own collaborations with local fiddlers, banjoists and the like, he's also recorded and released a lovely little album by veteran fiddler Billy Hazlewood.

Check out Jake's newie and the fine back-catalogue...

"non-nonsense"? "no-nonsense" of course (but with maybe even less nonsense!)
