Hello! I'm a new member to Mudcat and looking forward to reading through the many posts on this site. I would also like to note that I'm also a writer in Denver who has written on Walt Conley and the Denver Folk scene around 1960. This thread is an attempt to make contact with anyone that might have info relating to Walt Conley and/or the 1960's Denver Folk scene. I'm going to include a link to an unedited article I wrote about Walt. I welcome any comments you might have or any additional info you might be able to provide. My research has put me in contact with many folks that knew Walt or were associated with folk music in Denver from about 1959 into the '80s. It has been an incredible project and remains ongoing. Aside from just celebrating Walt's life and work the objective of this endeavor is to get Walt inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. Thanks for your time.
