Subject: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: robomatic Date: 06 Sep 18 - 01:33 AM Comes today an Op-Ed from a highly placed White House source, according to the 'failing' New York Times. It basically says for the odd 300 million Americans not familiar with the West Wing that there are adults in the White House who will keep the Current Occupant from playing with matches in the Oval Office. "I am part of the resistance ..." Tonight's CBC broadcast of As It Happens had the perfect announcement, horror-show style: "The call is coming from inside the house!" What a thrilling time it is to be alive! |

Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Joe Offer Date: 06 Sep 18 - 03:58 AM There are still a few people serving in the White House who believe their primary duty is to serve the American people, not the President. If they all resign, then what? If they go public, they'll be fired - then what? |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Jos Date: 06 Sep 18 - 04:37 AM If they resigned it might just look like rats leaving a sinking ship. It think the point being made is that they are going to hang on in there. |

Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: gillymor Date: 06 Sep 18 - 06:33 AM At least it got Woodward's book off the top of the page, however the problem for Prez Shrimp is that the latest diversion is usually worse than the last scandal. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Donuel Date: 06 Sep 18 - 07:14 AM In two weeks Trump will create a distraction that he believes will leave no doubt that he is in charge. I am sorry for a nation that allowed this to continue to the obvious conclusion. All in exchange for what? a 2 trillion dollar pay off to corporations and the wealthy. \This is not the home of the brave after all. Its protect your own ass to the danger of losing your nation. The day of reckoning will be flooded with blame but we all allowed this to happen. My op ed. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: bobad Date: 06 Sep 18 - 08:12 AM Trump would like nothing better than for them to resign or reveal themselves. Then he could replace them with ass-licking sycophants like Giuliani. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Jeri Date: 06 Sep 18 - 09:05 AM I've been following RoguePOTUSStaff on Twitter for a while. I wonder if it's the same person/persons. It's good to know there are people willing to walk that tight-rope. |

Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: bobad Date: 06 Sep 18 - 10:12 AM Jimmy Kimmel has a theory that anonymous might be Pence because of the uncommonly used word "lodestar" in the op-ed. He played a montage of Pence using the word again and again in various speeches over the past couple of years. Wouldn't it be interesting if that's who it is? |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: DMcG Date: 06 Sep 18 - 01:34 PM I am no expert on the US constitution, but I believe Pence is appointed by the people, not by Trump, and so it is very doubtful if Trump could fire him. As you say, bobad, that would be interesting. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: robomatic Date: 06 Sep 18 - 01:38 PM Pence is the only guy in the place who can't be fired! What's more he is no improvement to the Current Occupant. He's a different kind of wacko. A worse kind of wacko. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: robomatic Date: 06 Sep 18 - 01:39 PM Just wonderin', how good is Melania's English, anyway? |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: bobad Date: 06 Sep 18 - 01:45 PM A worse kind of wacko. Agreed! In other ways than Trump but the country sure as hell doesn't need a religious extremist at its helm. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Donuel Date: 06 Sep 18 - 02:29 PM worse? Thats only because he wears the fraudulant cloak of God's morality. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Joe Offer Date: 06 Sep 18 - 02:46 PM Free Melania!!! |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Donuel Date: 06 Sep 18 - 03:25 PM You know it could be Joe or Robo I dunno. But it isn't me. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Donuel Date: 06 Sep 18 - 07:22 PM Is this a hard coup, soft coup or coo coo? |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Donuel Date: 06 Sep 18 - 07:44 PM If lie detectors fail, I'm sure torture will solve this ;^/ I'd buy a pay per view of the Cabinet members under torture |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: keberoxu Date: 09 Sep 18 - 05:42 PM Free Melania, is right, hear, hear. FOX News Network can't talk about anything else. Kellyanne Conway can't talk about anything else. You know, after a while, it is no longer diverting. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Donuel Date: 09 Sep 18 - 06:01 PM Trump is angry at FOX for not supporting him more strongly with alternative facts. Trump actually said he wants the government to arrest the OP ED author and charged with treason on grounds of national security. This of course was done in the 3rd Reich but in a democracy it is merely free speech to write an editorial opinion. I still think the author is female but I hope she stays hidden and lets TRump stew. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: EBarnacle Date: 09 Sep 18 - 10:14 PM I cannot tell a lie. I wrote the Op-Ed and slipped it to one of my friends who takes his oath to support and defend the Constitution more seriously than he takes the loyalty oaths that Agent Orange has them sign every day before they punch in. |
Subject: RE: BS: The Anonymous Op-Ed (NewYorkTimes) From: Charley Noble Date: 11 Sep 18 - 08:12 PM So will Trump order waterboarding of his White House staff, including of course his family advisors? Inquiring minds want to know. Pence of course was elected in 2016 with Trump and can't be fired. He can be impeached, and I hope someone digs up grounds to do that. He is far more dangerous than Trump; he is cool and calculating. Charlie Ipcar |
