Comes today an Op-Ed from a highly placed White House source, according to the 'failing' New York Times. It basically says for the odd 300 million Americans not familiar with the West Wing that there are adults in the White House who will keep the Current Occupant from playing with matches in the Oval Office.

"I am part of the resistance ..."

Tonight's CBC broadcast of As It Happens had the perfect announcement, horror-show style: "The call is coming from inside the house!"

What a thrilling time it is to be alive!

There are still a few people serving in the White House who believe their primary duty is to serve the American people, not the President. If they all resign, then what?

In two weeks Trump will create a distraction that he believes will leave no doubt that he is in charge.
I am sorry for a nation that allowed this to continue to the obvious conclusion.
All in exchange for what? a 2 trillion dollar pay off to corporations and the wealthy.

\This is not the home of the brave after all. Its protect your own ass to the danger of losing your nation.

The day of reckoning will be flooded with blame but we all allowed this to happen.

Jimmy Kimmel has a theory that anonymous might be Pence because of the uncommonly used word "lodestar" in the op-ed. He played a montage of Pence using the word again and again in various speeches over the past couple of years. Wouldn't it be interesting if that's who it is?

I am no expert on the US constitution, but I believe Pence is appointed by the people, not by Trump, and so it is very doubtful if Trump could fire him. As you say, bobad, that would be interesting.

Trump is angry at FOX for not supporting him more strongly with alternative facts.
Trump actually said he wants the government to arrest the OP ED author and charged with treason on grounds of national security.
This of course was done in the 3rd Reich but in a democracy it is merely free speech to write an editorial opinion.


I still think the author is female but I hope she stays hidden and lets TRump stew.

I cannot tell a lie. I wrote the Op-Ed and slipped it to one of my friends who takes his oath to support and defend the Constitution more seriously than he takes the loyalty oaths that Agent Orange has them sign every day before they punch in.

Pence of course was elected in 2016 with Trump and can't be fired. He can be impeached, and I hope someone digs up grounds to do that. He is far more dangerous than Trump; he is cool and calculating.
