Announcing Two New Releases from the William Ferris Audio and Film Archives
We send warm wishes to you and thanks to everyone who has ordered the Voices of Mississippi: Artists and Musicians documented by William Ferris box set. We would like to share these touching responses from two artists that we deeply respect.

“The combination of William Ferris and Dust-to-Digital is so important in preserving the cornerstone of our musical American history…” — Lucinda Williams

“Voices of Mississippi taps into the rich world of southern musicians, storytellers, and writers. Their beautiful voices touched my heart. Bill Ferris is a profound historian. I am his biggest fan!!” — Quincy Jones

On November 2nd, we will release The Early Films of William Ferris: 1968-1975, a DVD collection of seven films that document the voices of African Americans as they spoke about and performed the diverse musical traditions that formed the roots of the blues.

On November 16th, we will release the Voices of Mississippi: Special Vinyl LP Edition. This limited edition album features blues and gospel field recordings made by William Ferris between 1966 and 1974. All tracks are available on vinyl for the very first time.
