I don't think anybody suggested otherwise, in fact 'CD Martin Hayes Quartet - The Blue Room' was quite clear about it.

I just heard the Martin Hayes Quartet playing Irish music. Violin, 'hardanger' violin, guitar and bass clarinet. It was wonderful.

Now they are off to Chicago and then California.
