Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Donuel Date: 15 Nov 18 - 09:12 AM a 'Fac' is anything reprehensible and untrue. 'Facbook' will certainly take a second dive. NYT Facebook ignored and concealed signs of Russian attempts to influence elections. |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Mossback Date: 15 Nov 18 - 10:09 AM Even better, Schmuckerberg conspired with a Republican opposition-research firm to smear George Soros with an obviously anti-semitic campaign. Where are Bruce & Bobad when you need 'em??? |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Donuel Date: 15 Nov 18 - 02:15 PM Sell high. You can always buy low later. Its not too late. its only dropped a .5% since noon. I see a 10% drop in 2 weeks and another bigger drop when regulations or antitrust bills are passed. The recent past shows how exposed, vulnerable and volatile they are. But don't listen to me, listen to Soros. He's had a decent outlook on these things that seem to pay off. That is unless you think he paid immigrants to escape death. The only caravans he invests in are the thousands of trucks of Corona and Dos Equis coming across the border daily. |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Donuel Date: 15 Nov 18 - 02:45 PM btw Soros does contribute to music composers world wide. He has unique personal barometers for the market and constantly asks questions. Yeah he is accessible via groups and institutions. |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Mr Red Date: 16 Nov 18 - 04:49 AM Fakebook has not reached its apogee yet. But it is visible from here. I just wish I had enough foresight to predict what will over-take it. |

Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Mr Red Date: 19 Nov 18 - 03:02 AM Someone told me Bono is an excessively rich man because he used his musically acquired wealth to buy Fakebook shares at the right time. |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Iains Date: 19 Nov 18 - 12:23 PM https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/rock-stars/bono-net-worth/ If the above is true, facebook made a very minor contribution to his wealth. It is still a serious amount of money though. |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Mossback Date: 19 Nov 18 - 05:56 PM "Events over the past year have made it abundantly clear that Facebook is no different from several other large corporations adept at feeding us one line while actually serving up something a bit less palatable. Facebook would do well to recognise what it is. It is not a social movement, not a tool for democracy. It is a company, and like most companies, driven first and foremost by profit. The good companies are the ones who acknowledge this but are equally aware of their responsibility and their need to act ethically and with transparency." |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Mr Red Date: 20 Nov 18 - 04:44 AM facebook made a very minor contribution to his wealth. he is no fool. But he is a chancer. When you have more money than you can reasonably spend, and an intellect, you can afford to chance it. And Bono (allegedly) got in very early. The article reckons less than 10% of his wealth came from Fakebook. So for all his good work, he is still partly responsible for Brexshit, and Trump! What has he got to say about that, I wonder? |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Donuel Date: 20 Nov 18 - 07:32 AM It's hard to say if Face book is the worse threat to Western Democracy in the last 50 years or in all of history. |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: Donuel Date: 20 Nov 18 - 09:36 AM Well the big 5 tech stocks including Facebook are now down over 20%. That is an eqivalent of a loss of 1 Trillion dollars of market value. nuff said if you know what I mean wink wink nudge nudge |
Subject: RE: BS: I'd sell Facbook stock now From: robomatic Date: 20 Nov 18 - 05:58 PM I remember when Apple iPODs were not brandy new, but new enough to advertise special 'editions' such as the iPOD that came in U2 colours, which I remember as black and red. But did it come preloaded with U2 songs or albums. It did not. |
