Subject: RE: Lyr Add: Here's the Summer (Henry Purcell) From: GUEST,ripov Date: 09 Dec 18 - 08:04 PM much as abc has its uses, the entire ms is in the petrucci library here, "Here's the Summer" is No 37, on page 111. And there english jigs and hornpipes as well. The link to "vocal score" is probably best to use, plus you get the original harmonies. You do have a short wait before it downloads (watch the timer) to encourage regular users to contribute! |

Subject: RE: Lyr Add: Here's the Summer (Henry Purcell) From: leeneia Date: 09 Dec 18 - 07:13 PM I think there is, and possibly after the M. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Add: Here's the Summer (Henry Purcell) From: leeneia Date: 09 Dec 18 - 07:12 PM Is there an extra space in X:1? I can't compare until I submit this. |
Subject: Lyr Add: Here's the summer From: Nigel Parsons Date: 07 Dec 18 - 08:45 PM Not one I can find on Mudcat. I listed it yesterday in the Singing Together thread. HERE'S THE SUMMER Henry Purcell (from: The Fairy Queen) Here's the Summer, sprightly, gay, Smiling, wanton, fresh and fair; Adorned with all the flowers of May, Whose various sweets perfume the air; Adorned with all the flowers of May, Whose various sweets perfume the air. For some reason (my poor typing?) I can't get this to display on the ABC converter at Mandolintab. I'm posting anyway to avoid re-typing tomorrow (later today) when I may be able to see where I'm going wrong. |
