This song was written by Scot Alastair Hulett while he was working in Oz, he performed with the band "Roaring Jack" and was a bit of a revolutionary. The song describes the aftermath of the double dissolution of the Australian parliament and the overthrow of democracy, just as is being attempted in the UK over the EU referendum.
Nothing changes, the establishment always wins in the end.
