Hey guys, heads up!

Buried in the depths of the Mudcat thread on Annap's Gathering is the great news that Honey (a.k.a. Glenn Hamill) has popped the question, and that Annap has said "Yes"!!! So join me in raising a glass to true love for Anna and Glenn. And yes, Anna reports that she will be changing her name, to Anna Hamill (which if you say it real fast sounds something like Animal, but nothing like possum...).

Much joy to you both! Maybe I'll be bringing some champagne in January. Kath

Well ya coulda crapped on me with a crouton! I guess I just figgered they were married......boy's a little slow on the uptake ain't he?

In any case, CONGRATS are in order (along with the croutons). Karen and I send our best of course, although why she sees any value in marriage is beyond me. I guess she thinks other people DON'T get congenital idiots for husbands and she always wants to keep a good thought.

Suppose this calls for a little advice from a married gal? All I can tell you is this; At our wedding, Mr. Wonderful begins to spout some "Taming of the Shrew" crapola about the ladies telling what was due their lords and masters. Thank you all again for your wonderful good wishes. We haven't made a date yet, but we're hoping for the summer. We would like to be married on our beach, and have the reception at a local beach club. There is going to be a LOT of people as Glenn grew up in the area and has more friends than anyone I know. Then there is my friends and family, and Mudcatters, I hope. It's a situation where we have to invite everyone, or, no one. Neither Honey nor I could tolerate "no one". We'll keep everyone posted. Looking forward to Jan 14th.

MMario, I received your wonderful tape. It will definitely get air play during the gathering next week. The Highwayman was one of my very favorite poems. You have a wonderful voice.
