Trevor died suddenly on Saturday. He was well known around the Bradford folk scene as well as up in the Dales and of course Padstow. He celebrated his eightieth birthday just last month with an enormous musical fest which all enjoyed.

If Geoff the Duck reads this, will you please get in touch with Maureen as her e-mail to you has bounced back. She is staying with daughter Paula at the moment.

I got the news from Shirley Crowther yesterday morning, he was well loved around Bradford and Halifax, I played and sang with him in sessions many times, he was one of the few people that could get me singing.

Condolences to Maureen and family.

I had heard this sad news from friends. I spent many late Decembers carol singing around the pubs of South Bradford and north east Calderdale with Trevor & the crew when we lived in Bradford. It was the highlight of my Christmas and I was always made to feel so welcome. RIP Trevor - one of the good guys

Trevor's Wednesday sessions and the Halifax Road carols have had a big influence on the lives of many people. Friendships formed, and people encouraged to perform or play in public.
Thousands of pounds raised by the carolling at Christmas for local charities.
Trevor will be missed.
