Any suggestions for songs for a 45 minute set with a blues theme.
Nothing too raunchy.
A couple of funny pieces would be good. (funny? blues?)

This is for a male/female duo, so some of the classics by females will of course be in there, eg Nobody Knows You When You're Down & Out.
I'm also thinking, San Francisco Bay Blues,Don't Roll Those Bloodshot Eyes at me, & I'll have a look through the Louis Jordan catalogue, but any other ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

"How Blue Can You Get?" BB King did a masterful cover of this on "Live at the Regal" and it's got some funny lines in it. You might even be able to spin it into a duet.

Little Milton did some fun tunes that work as duets like,"We're Gonna Make It", "Grits Ain't Groceries" and "That's What Love Will Make You Do".

'Hesitation Blues' lends itself to the insertion of humorous verses. Ralph McTell does a traditional version, while Ivor Biggun offends against public decency, on a good night.

think about changes of keys, FOR VARIETY, Open tunings possibly some bottleneck slide, plus if you can try to include blind blake[ not hawaai BB] BECAUSE HE USED INTERESTING CHORD PROGRESSIONS
