Peter Barnes Canis publishing

On May 2nd, 25 days ago, I ordered two books from Canis Publishing, which distributes Peter Barnes' country dance books. Canis gives no phone number and no e-mail address on its web page.

I would have gone through Paypal, but I hadn't used my account for a few months, and Paypal was being squirrelly.

So far my check hasn't been cashed. I sent another letter May 21. No response.

Does anybody know what's up with Canis Publishing?

There is an email address listed, just not in the obvious form, to avoid spam I guess. Here's what it shows:

for info write sales (at) canispublishing (dot) com

It's listed this way under the company mailing address.

I'm not familiar with this company, but this caught my eye because I recently had some confusion ordering from another small company. (I did get my order, but it took longer than I was expecting.)

Ignore the post just above. I've received an e-mail from Kate promising that my dance books are on the way. I will soon have the first blue book, the second blue book, the red book, the green book and the couples' book.

well, i have been known to have a bit of a jig in the dance test at festivals - but can't claim that anyone was delighted. and i used to go and watch manchester city when peter barnes was the young player of the year - but no-one ever got the 2 of us mixed-up
