Although considered disgusting in Western culture, cockroaches are eaten in many places around the world. Whereas household pest cockroaches may carry bacteria and viruses, cockroaches bred under laboratory conditions can be used to prepare nutritious food. In Mexico and Thailand, the heads and legs are removed, and the remainder may be boiled, sautéed, grilled, dried or diced. In China, cockroaches have become popular as medicine and cockroach farming is rising with over 100 farms.

The cockroaches are fried twice in a wok of hot oil, which makes them crispy with soft innards that are like cottage cheese. Fried cockroaches are ground and sold as pills for stomach, heart and liver diseases. A cockroach recipe from Formosa (Taiwan) specifies salting and frying cockroaches after removing the head and entrails.

I'm bad at decoding cypers. However I have been able to make them with photoshop. Any picture can be be used to put a layer of text or another photo then lighten to impercptual visibility and flatten. The way to recover the information is to to put the picture through several rounds of maximum contrast. Variations using color also works by using saturation and contrast or inverse color enhancment. Subliminal messages can be done by not going all the way to imperceptability or in video the same old single frame technique with some new gimmocks.

Using photos of uniformity like clouds and sky are the easiest.

NASA's photo looks like a Mexican buñuelo. You have to have a large plate or eat them standing over the sink because you drop crumbs and cinnamon sugar everywhere.

Rap I bought a damaged ceremonial sword. The ivory handle is not firmly attached to the blade. The blade is engraved on both sides all the way to the hilt. It is of some sort of battle between Templar knights and a Middle east enemy. The silver 'ropes' that are attached to the sheath reminds me of mexican silver. I believe it is cursed and belonged to a secret order once upon a time. But it is damaged and not suitable for a dual.

There was a mystery teddy bear left on the lawn in the back yard overnight. I suspect the puppy grabbed it from the closet in the guest room. It is a bear with no known name, but looks very familiar. It means I should put the ancient fragile named bear ("Grrrr." When the toddler boy who received it was told that bears say "grrrr" he decided that was the name.)

We know who dragged it out because as I examined it I looked up and the pup had tucked herself away in the kennel for self-imposed time out.

As far as past MOAB characters, this pup is nothing so obnoxious as Chongo, but it does match up to some of the dachshund stories that LH has told.

Mom, I spent about seven hours at the horsespittle today getting a bunch of stuff done. I don't know how many times I confirmed what medicines I take. I have no idea how many papers I signed. Two people came to give me the EKG. I did get lunch at the gas station, though.

Eyeball success! New lens in one, now a week of drops and a recheck then the second one will be scheduled. No heavy lifting for a week - though I forgot and moved a cast iron sewing machine and a large porcelain elephant end table in the guest room. I caught myself doing that and stopped. I guess I'll leave pushing the house to stabilize the foundations till next week after the second follow-up.
