A post from a great, albeit ancient, philosopher who speaks for himself herein!

What is existence? What defines something's or someone's existence? What causes something to exist in the first place? If Amos steals my wallet (again) and uses my American Express card, does that mean that "I" exist twice whenever he uses it?

Sartre, Kant, Socrates, Aquinas, and many others wrestled with this question. Descartes' "Cogito ergo sum" can hardly apply in an era when a cheap computer can "outhink" many national leaders, but the entire quotation, ""Dubito ergo cogito; cogito ergo sum" is just as applicable now as it was when it was first uttered.

Bergson wrote, "To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly." Camus wrote, "For if I try to seize this self of which I feel sure, if I try to define and to summarize it , it is nothing but water slipping through my fingers...This very heart which is mine will forever remain indefinable to me."

Is Shane McBridge (whoever it is) more "real" and have more "existence" than Amos Jessup?

Of course, it all begs the question since I created everything out of nothing in the first place.

Well, Mom, I had what I hope is the laset of those VA evaluations today. I guess the evaluators are paid well, because this one came about 50 miles and was an MD working on SATURDAY. I suspect he's on a slow boat to retirement.

As part of a paid drug trial I was given a pill called Engorgeulong.
Its temporary side effects included losing 5 inches of height and shrinking all appendages but one. Like Rap I had to wear an arm sling, that was however customized, for about 8 hours. I suspect they are having dose glitches.

A full mobius of twitter like nonsense has begun. In other words I am OK on Moab and Trump effects but any post elsewhere is being deleted. As I feared the deletion precedant has led to a serial banning which has no rhyme or reason. Was it opinion, democracy or future think? shrug.
A searchable mudcat is useless when there is nothing to search. What remains is a readable collective consciousness minus my own.
It seems like Shaw and Jeri are my impermeable gatekeepers in a game I am not good at, but be that as it may I wish you all well and good healing as the sun returns.

There is one photo of the top my humerus sitting in the labrum (socket cup). Normally this would be nice and pink with muscles and tendons; mine is shiny white with a very noticeable hole through which you can see the other side. The muscle had "retracted" and had to be pulled back into place and anchored down.

Other stuff was also done and there was a lot of detritus to vacuum up.

Saw the medical types today for a week-later followup. They're not only happy with my progress, but they prescribed more hydrocodone pain pills and hired me out to a mining company. I'll be pushing loaded mine cars up the slope from the stope to the surface. This is apparently okay because I was told not to do any lifting.

There were photos of the inside of my shoulder. Of course, because it was my shoulder they are all wonderful and should be very valuable someday.

I saw a movie directed by John Ridley, 'Needle in a Timestack'.

I don't care what action is taken to keep our most valuable donor happy. Its all OK by me. I know what Steve's sensitivities are, so if whatever placates the situation like moving all my posts to MOAB is all well and good. The lad would enjoy a title most of all like Mudcat Emeritus. No need to feel squeamish about keeping the mob happy.

20 years ago the young man genius accross the street went to work on voice recognition and succeeded very quickly. The John's Hopkins genius did his BA and Nasters in less than 3 years. I bet Rap is using the fruits of his labor with Dragon. I recall the corporate investigators that investigated the young and interviewed me as part of their need for secrecy. I miss our conversations regarding entanglement.

Yes, indeed there is. Back in high school we knew it as "Stomping ON Savoy" -- Mark Savoy, who was a very unpopular fink. Always sneaking around and then telling the school administration what he'd found out, and if he didn't find out anything he'd make something up about someone. Whether it was smoking on school grounds or sneaking off to have a hot dog in the tavern a block away, ol' Mark would report it. He could, of course, be bought off and he sometimes even kept his word.

So far in FY2022 451 refugees have been settled in Idaho, of which 346 were from Afghanistan. 329 were settled in Idaho in FY2021, most of whom were from Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Eritrea, and Uganda. That's 780 in about 16 months.

I undertook the legal process whereby a non-owner occupant of a numbered post gains title and ownership of that post after a certain period of time. I as the disseissor, demonstrated several criteria that have been met for the PA. court to allow my claim.

If you wanted to claim the number you should have made a post claim as a written request made by yourself, or a community for the rights of post ownership. Rights to posts or other equitable redress that has been lodged with the Commission of Restitution of Posting Rights in the prescribed manner is the only legal and accepted title of ownership.
