The council is wrong. Dog and cat droppings are just fine in the compost. Not adding them is the result of an Old Wives' Tale regarding the content. Kitchen waste is fine. Meat is a problem because if you don't bury it well enough critters will dig it out and it gets stinky.

I have put the finishing touches on my Opal masterpiece. It is more exciting and adventurous than a lump of black harlequin opal that sells for 6 figures. My philosophy in art is that the last 1% of effort is the most important part.
I also made a pipe smoking a pipe that needs its bowl and stem drilled.
It is made of a unique branch of Sequoia (redwood). The top of the guy's head hides an invisible hinge and closes on the bowl.
My room is finished except for some carpet tape and the hallway. Its finishing touches week.
3 rooms to go including a bathroom make over.

My ebay offering still sits there awaiting photos.

You can look at the Brexit thread and see intelligent people squabble over seemingly important issues but it is mostly foolishness missing the big fundamental point that the biggest check wins. Democracy becomes symbolic only and the country with no written Constitution continues the con.

The pandemic has given people a chance to think for themselves, except for those prone to conspiracy theories. The times are ripe for change.

Getting back to a caring social contract culture and a culture of inclusiveness is my goal and hope. I use a highly unique word count and show a focus on lyricism and storytelling. I hope new folk music will lead the way to a better culture as it once did.

Which one? I asked if opioid addiction was increasing or decreasing.
The number of drug overdose deaths increased by nearly 5% from 2018 to 2019 and has quadrupled since 2019. Over 70% of the 70,630 deaths in 2019 involved an opioid.
Prescription opioids in America use 75% of the world's supply but the US has only 5% of the global population. Purdue has been sued and they had to pay a fine so the slack has been taken up by Chinese Fentanyl. Today there was a report of rainbow-colored Fentanyl and gummy bears containing Fentanyl on MSNBC.
I have not found any recent information on opioid addiction in China. The addiction phenom seems to be a secret affair in the US but not on Craigslist. I suppose too much money is made in addicting and addiction help centers in the coming and going of opiate problems.
The death toll from Covid is about tied with opioid deaths in the US. At this point, I suppose I should add it to the new normal list that is growing longer each day. I do wonder what the percentage of users is in various occupations. My guess is that professional wrestlers still top the list.

Depending on how it is done it would send 2 messages. One would make it clear to the right that Trump would escape a twenty-year prison sentence based on health reasons by a compassionate act of a Democratic President.
Two, it would send a message to the left that those who were willing to lie cheat and insurrect were all harmed by loss of some kind including homes and sanity due to excesses of a creeping oligarchy.

The extreme left of the 1950s to 60's had the basic same complaints as the extreme right of the 60's to today except that the right has a constant 20% white nationalist agenda.

The left was enraged by COINTELPRO and surveillance of the FBI just as the right complains about the FBI today. Clear government lies enraged both extremes. Distrust of justice is shared.

What you begin to realize is that the extreme left and right have switched places in society. One was radical hippie and one is Qanon whacky.

So my idea of a pardon could placate the right and the left extremes as long as the guardrails of law remains intact. You may be correct that it would reinforce the concept of an Imperial Presidency but it is still preferred over a civil war, as laws address the problems of oligarchy and wealth distribution.

Disagree if you like but realize an actual living wage would go a long way to solving our problems and making billionaires/corporations pay taxes.

I take the long view. Do you realize the tax rate for the 'billionaires and millionaires' in the 1950's was 90% !!!???
