Yes, indeed there is. Back in high school we knew it as "Stomping ON Savoy" -- Mark Savoy, who was a very unpopular fink. Always sneaking around and then telling the school administration what he'd found out, and if he didn't find out anything he'd make something up about someone. Whether it was smoking on school grounds or sneaking off to have a hot dog in the tavern a block away, ol' Mark would report it. He could, of course, be bought off and he sometimes even kept his word.

Its a reality blend of at least 5 sci fi themes but I am currently under a binge watch quarantine of watching 'Travelers' on Netflix.
This series is reccomended for strong immune systems only.
Its a 4.7 out of 5.

So far in FY2022 451 refugees have been settled in Idaho, of which 346 were from Afghanistan. 329 were settled in Idaho in FY2021, most of whom were from Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Eritrea, and Uganda. That's 780 in about 16 months.

The resettlement of the refugees is going well. They say, "Afghanistan was home, but Pocatello is my home now!" Problem is, the agency doing the resettlement has never done anything remotely like this before and, let us say, there have been some glitches.

I undertook the legal process whereby a non-owner occupant of a numbered post gains title and ownership of that post after a certain period of time. I as the disseissor, demonstrated several criteria that have been met for the PA. court to allow my claim.

If you wanted to claim the number you should have made a post claim as a written request made by yourself, or a community for the rights of post ownership. Rights to posts or other equitable redress that has been lodged with the Commission of Restitution of Posting Rights in the prescribed manner is the only legal and accepted title of ownership.

DIBS IS NOT A LEGAL PROCESS!

I was granted post 2772 on 2/22/22.

Odd, when you think about it. The phone has more computing power that our first desktop. Yes, it's an Apple iPhone, a SE 2020. And it costs helluva lot less that the top of the line models like the iPhone 13 (we don't get our phones and pay piecemeal).

Weinerschnitzel is made with breaded veal. I'm not fanatically against veal, but it's a pain to make well. Sauerkraut -- well, I haven't eaten a good one since my grandmother (who made her own) died in June, 1957. Good rotenkraut is nice, though. Pat made some Super SOS a couple of weeks ago and we scarfed it down (on Thomas English Muffins, of course).

I had a pre-surgery experience today, so now I'm all set for Valentine's Day.

We had a patriotic mac&cheese with a naked cheeseburger and canned peaches. 1/3 plain mac-1/3mac with red food coloring and 1/3 blue. The cheeseburger has ketchup eyes and a mustard smile. A pickle nose is optional but extra sharp Wisconsin chedder for the mac and Campbel soup mix is essential.

Catholic Charities of Idaho is spearheading the resettlement of refugees here in Pocatello. The Catholic church here has had a visitation of people from American Falls (about 40 or so miles west)objecting to the settlement of Afghan refugees here. You see, being Muslim they probably don't reflect "Idaho Values" AND there might be just a touch of racism here.

BTW, every church in Pocatello, including the Mosque, Synagogue, and LDS Temple, is assisting in this effort. The Mayor and the Chief of Police support it. The FBI (a big presence here in their data services compound) supports it.
