Flowers and Frolics (I THINK) revived this lovely old tune - Old Swan band recorded it as well as a lot of others . I have a very vague memory of it as written by an English Concertina player in the 1890's , but I cannot remember the name of the composer ! Can anyone help ?

I don't know if it's the same one but a brass band website lists a test piece called Woodland Revels as being by E.le Duc.

Does the name Eric Orland ring a bell?

It's in Dave Mallinson's "English pub session tunes" book but unattributed.

Maybe Mally would know though.

Derrick, the link shows that Richard Carlin was the Editor/Compiler. The Composer space higher up is left blank.

E. le Duc was a pseudonym of William Rimmer who seems to have written quite a few brass band pieces.
