And an excellent show it was! Lovely singing, great songs, and the recordings were a treat for the ears. Just the right show to stumble into on a Sunday morning.

I was very pleased to see a full house for our show, All The Birds Of The Air. After all, it was in that first-event-on-Sunday morning graveyard spot.
The surprise was followed by delight at the way the enthusiatic way that the show was received. There were even enquiries about possible other bookings for the show at the end - very satisfying.

Back from this great festival. We all had a great time and a pleasure to be playing in the concerts alongside some amazing acts as well as a fab unexpected impromptu session in the Caxton yesterday afternoon followed by a superb sing around in the sam pub later. Sadly Morrigan had to skip the final sing around as one of the band was ill and as we were car sharing we had to head home
Counting down to next year now

Sarah

Getting the caravan ready now. Have never found much in the way of paid accommodation at Tenterden but the car park was free last year.

Sorry not to be able to take up Alan's kind offer this year- combination of health problems & reluctance to subject myself to a 900 mile round trip !

But good luck to all at the festival- haven't given up on it in the future....

Similar to previous years, the mainly song sessions are largely in the William Caxton and the mainly tune sessions are in the White Lion, but there are some others in the Vine and the Woolpack. The programme is now available on line for more details.

It's a lovely festival and I hope to catch Dick in performance at some stage over the weekend.

I'll be there playing melodeon with (given Vic's post) the appropriately named Black Swan Border Morris.
