We should only use Literally to mean Literally- not Figuratively. Screw the dictionary.

We should try harder to use appropriate prnonouns, including the singular They, especially for nonbinary folk like me. That is now in the dictionary. Yay the dictionary.

Right, I was using the definition of organic that predated the takeover of the term by marketing to mean something it doesn't. As in, organic chemistry. I also think we should prevent marketing from suborning terminology.
In French that usage of Organic ic is Biological, which makes even less sense. Ah, marketing department; 2 drink minimum.

We should instill a love of reading in all young children.

We should make it illegal to call yourself a news source if you tell lies.

We should make it an impeachable offense for politicians to publicly tell lies.

Everyone who has been slandered by Trump & Co. should be able to sue them for everything they have.

We should tell it like it is: millions of people in the US who call themselves Christians aren't any such thing. Let's start saying so. Everytime some Chrino* starts shooting off their mouth, or trying to pass laws based on their religion, the news should refer to them as "so-called Christians" or even "non-Christians". I wish the real Christians would be more vocal about the deplorable people who are stealing their identity.

Mrrzy, you seem to have missed the definition of organic food. The stuff that's in non-organic food that causes us to call it non-organic food didn't get there through any natural process, nor was it made in any natural process.

Wouldn't it be nice if food that isn't organic had to be labelled as such, rather than the reverse like we have now?

Stilly, its not just civics that isn't taught any longer in U.S. schools & hasn't been for years- its also history, economics, music many other victims of the Common Corpse Curriculum being shoved down preople's throats.

DeVos is also busy teaching Creation "Science"{NOT} and privitising education.

Its no wonder we now have a Trumpist Cult of morons: the Republican's 30-year campaign of budget cuts to education & promulgation of the "my ignorance is just as valid as your education" & branding anyone with a full set of teeth and a brain as "elites" coming home to roost.

I made my basement sacred. I hung drapes to appear that large windows are behind the curtains until you pull back the curtains to epose a solid wall.

I'm with you on the others. Biology should be taught starting in grade school.
