Hi All,

This year's HFF2019, of which we are proud patrons, is almost upon us.

The Festival goes from strength to strength, establishing itself as a major music event here in our region. Once again, the Festival has a wonderful line up of performers and events, it would be great to see some of you in Hartlepool next weekend, 18th, 19th & 20th of October....and please spread the word!

The Wilson Family will be contributing throughout the weekend. Amongst other places (mainly late night sings back at Jackson's Wharf!!)..you can catch us at the following:

Friday 18th:

As part of the newly commissioned "Your Affectionate Son" Songs by Robb Johnson and Luke Daniels - Borough Hall

Saturday 19th:

2.30PM: Mike Wilson: Album launch of solo CD: "Taking Shape" - MAC Centre - National Museum of the Royal Navy, Hartlepool Historic Quay

4PM: The Wilson Family in Concert: Captain's Cabin: HMS Trincomalee - Hartlepool Historic Quay

8.50PM The Wilson Family: Something silly as part of the Kiss Me Quick Cabaret - Duke Of Cleveland - Hartlepool Headland

Sunday 20th:

10AM: (Mike) Nevermind The Bandoggs Folk (ish) Quiz! - William Grey Suite - Hartlepool Historic Quay

12 Noon: The Wilson Family interview: Robin Dale - MAC Centre - National Museum of the Royal Navy, Hartlepool Historic Quay

4.20PM: The Wilson Family in Concert: The Traditional Concert: Captain's Cabin: HMS Trincomalee - Hartlepool Historic Quay

10.30PM: The Wilson Family - Final Concert Finale - Farewell sing with The Wilson Family - Borough Hall, Headland, Hartlepool.

To kick it all off, we also have our pre-Festival singaround at The Welly Folk Club, this coming Thursday October 17th. The singing starts at 8.30pm and all are Welly welcome!

In addition to our sing-outs, there is absolutely loads of stuff going on!

The Road to Peterloo is on Sunday at 12.30.

I really enjoyed this festival last year.

It's so sad that this festival in my home town clashes with Musicport. I would have loved to see Your Affectionate Son and Road to Peterloo but Musicport is unmissable for us especially in its 20th anniversary year. Hope everyone there is having as good a time as we are!
