Subject: BBC Alba tonight in Dublin From: Noreen Date: 01 Nov 19 - 05:52 PM Just browsing online TV guide and saw a picture of lovely Dublin traditional singer Niamh Parsons advetising tonight's "Port" programme, available on iPlayer: Port Musical documentary with Julie Fowlis and Muireann NicAmhlaoibh as they take to the road to explore their shared musical roots. In Dublin, Port reveals their shared musical heritage. Port celebrates the common musical heritage of the longtime friends and collaborators as they cross borders and traditions between the west of Ireland and the Western Isles, meeting and playing with friends and musicians en route. Singer Darren MacLean and piper Carole-Anne MacKay join our musical hosts for a tour of several iconic venues. True to form, Dublin doesn't disappoint and gives up some musical gems. Lovely singing and playing. |

Subject: RE: BBC Alba tonight in Dublin From: Tattie Bogle Date: 01 Nov 19 - 08:44 PM The whole series is brilliant! I have numerous episodes stored on our Tivo box, after creating a "series link". It's my "go to" when there's nothing else worth watching on TV! On BBC ALBA. |
