I notice the Hope & Anchor pub in Greatham, Hartlepool, has been closed but is due to reopen soon. Does anyone know whether the singing in the bar will still go ahead this Boxing Day, after the mummers play and rapper dancing in the village? Is the pub under new ownership? And if so, do they know what to expect and are they prepared for it?

Have looked around Redcar Sword Dancers pages and can't find a mention of 2019 Boxing Day at Greatham however it is such a gathering of NE folkies I can't see it not happening. Singing has happened in the Bull and Dog when the Hope and Anchor has been closed.
