Hi. My first time writing to/on Mudcat. In the song "An Old Greyhound" by Hoyt Axton & Nicolette Larson there is the verse:
"Just the Rose and me and my old CB
With the handle of the Golden Bear
From the shaky city to the Tennessee line
Ten-four is going to get me there"
Can anyone tell me what "with the handle of the golden bear" means or refers to?

Hi, Luke -
A "handle" is a pseudonym chosen as the on-air identity of a user of Citizen's Band radio.
Hope that helps.
Joe
