Subject: Lyr Req: Golden Bear From: GUEST,Luke Ladner Date: 03 Jan 20 - 12:22 AM Hi. My first time writing to/on Mudcat. In the song "An Old Greyhound" by Hoyt Axton & Nicolette Larson there is the verse: "Just the Rose and me and my old CB With the handle of the Golden Bear From the shaky city to the Tennessee line Ten-four is going to get me there" Can anyone tell me what "with the handle of the golden bear" means or refers to? |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Golden Bear From: Joe Offer Date: 03 Jan 20 - 05:38 AM Hi, Luke - A "handle" is a pseudonym chosen as the on-air identity of a user of Citizen's Band radio. Hope that helps. Joe |
