Woody Guthrie can be seen sitting on a door step in the film
THE FIGHT FOR LIFE, about 5 seconds. He is strumming his
guitar, however the sound was dubbed by another.

Fight for Life, written and directed by Pare Lorentz who also
made (for the US Government) two better known films THE RIVER,
and THE PLOW THAT BROKE THE PLAINS.

All are readily available on DVD/R or youtube.

Cheers, Thomas.

There is a recent Russian war movie about the female sniper Woody wrote a song about.
An actor plays Woody in a few short scenes..
Right now I can't remember the title,
but if anyone is bothered googling, it's an entertaining
but necessarily brutal and bloody movie...

By "few short scenes", it might have been a non speaking part in one scene..
I can't remember well enough...

Though I think the song "Miss Pavlichenko"
was used in the film...???
