Unfortunately the deal appears to have fallen through and the book hasn't appeared.

Many years ago Tony Russell announced that he was preparing a book comprising articles from 'Old Time Music' magazine. But, I doubt that it actually appeared. Did anyone ever see this book?

Here's a link to a long-running harmonica (harp) site that may be worth your while checking out.

"I have tried to purchase Wayne Raney’s Autobiography titled Life Is Not A Bed Of Roses but the only place that seems to have it is in the Arkansas State Archives and it can’t be checked out."

It may not make much difference, but the correct title is

Title        This is Wayne Raney: "life Has Not Been a Bed of Roses."
Author        Wayne Raney
Publisher        L & W Publishing Company, 1990
Length        71 pages

Subject: Old Time Music Magazine & other publications
From: GUEST,Greg
Date: 18 Feb 20 - 02:30 PM

Does anyone know if digital copies of either complete issues of this magazine or of articles that appeared in the magazine are available or if there is a website where you can pay for access to read he magazines?

I had hoped to purchase hard copies but I’m disabled and can’t afford $20 or more for a single issue which seems to be the going rate.

I would also appreciate it very much if anyone here could bring to my attention any publications related to old time music other than Old Time Music Magazine or Old Time Herald that are available digitally online.

I’m also trying to obtain a few other things and would appreciate any assistance.

I have tried to purchase Wayne Raney’s Autobiography titled Life Is Not A Bed Of Roses but the only place that seems to have it is in the Arkansas State Archives and it can’t be checked out.

Lastly, I have been trying to find old harmonica books or folios put out by Wayne Raney and Lonnie Glosson.

Thanks in advance for any help.
