LI read in "The Irish Times" newspaper 19 February 2020 about a project to promote "art songs" in the Irish language. The project has a useful website with music scores and lyrics and translations and sound files. https://www.cmc.ie/AmhrainEalaineGhaeilge
"Art song" isn't my favourite genre, but I suppose we can sing the songs in our own preferred style. The songs include three Michael Hartnett poems set to music, and also some lyrics composed specially for the project. A very useful feature for language learners is spoken word recordings of the lyrics.
