Let your whiskers grow Let your whiskers grow Waste no time in shaving Pull them out by the roots Make laces for your boots See what money you're saving. That is all I recall and don't even think he sang more than this. My dad sang it to us too and sang it to my children. Despite his aggressive dementia my dad can still remember and sing this if we prompt him with the first line. Does anyone else know of this or know any more of it? |

They added a couple of extra verses that I think were school playground rhymes. Was your granddad from Lancashire? At lot of that playground stuff was pretty universal, though. |
