I am also having trouble hearing the first part, the main broadcast, and i have Real Player plus G2... just dosn't want to load...

Liam and MMario -- You're going to have to download the newest version of RealPlayer -- RealPlayer 7 Basic - the free one!! -- from the RealPlayer webpage. This will fix your problem with the archive playback. Try that and see if it works.

Max - I can't play the archived version of this show. Anyone else having probs with it? It tries to play four copies of the vid, but never really gets started ... it just jumps to track two in the archive, which I believe is the ending theme song. That plays out, and the archive is finished.

Yes, we cashed out just as we tried to play it too. Thought we lost the whole thing, but I salvaged what I could. Its corrupt like the other show, shows 4 copies of the video as it plays. Its kind of neat actually. Anyway guys, had fun, the archive is now available, available, available, available.

Max - I had told you before Christmas that I'd send in another tape, but didn't get to it over the holidays. I will get one to you next week, and thanks for playing it on the "air".

By the way, I'd like to see you play more live music on the show ... the tapes are good, the talk is good, you and Bert have a laid back style, and the show has a good mix, but we like your music - you always seem to have something worth listenin' to.

Max and Bert. For the Mudcatter's news segment of your show; I'll be in Phoenix on Thursday Jan 6 playing at The Fiddler's Dream Coffehouse open mic, (if God is willing and the creek don't rise ...)

I would love to meet any Phoenix area mudcatters who can make it to the club. Please look at this thread) for details on where the show. DougR says he plans to drop by.

I will be listening in to the Mudcat radio on the 6th, but will have to miss most of the show, since I'm working. I think we can work out a crude way to get the radio show on the air for the audience in Dallas before the month is out. I'll send you an Email, Max. We still want to get you and Bert down here this Spring.

To go live we're gonna need a high speed connection which I doubt we can. 56K just doesn't cut it. Recording it for a later day is easy. And yes, we will be doing a show this week, the 5h of January, 2000.

Max and Bert - I'd like to arrange to have Mudcat Radio live at the Celtic Quill on Jan 19. I can have the equip neccessary to connect the PC to the PA so we can broadcast you live to the audience. I also need a bit of planning to get an audience there early (we normally start at 8PM CST). Maybe we could connect up for the last half hour of your show ... and we'd call in. Wadda ya think?
