Cdbaby, the cd/digital online music outlet have stopped selling.
They were a good source for buying independent and small label recordings. Any suggestions for an other similar outlets?

Bad news if true. I bought quite a lot of stuff (including Mudcatters' from them over the years.

SRS, perhaps you would look at the following thread and offer a suggestion?

No need for panic - according to the page linked: "Will CD Baby still warehouse and ship my CDs and Vinyl?
YES! Although we’re retiring our own retail store, we’re continuing our physical distribution program."

I think that's all most of us are concerned about.

Cdbaby's website was a mess. When ever I'd type in Cdbaby in search OR entered "www.cdbaby.com" the pages were always full of information of how to sell your recordings but the link to the sales pages was buried.

Yeah, I also hope CDBaby figures out something because they used to hold a good description of song names and albums and now that's all obfuscated by whatever re-branding thing they're doing now. I appreciate that they're going to continue distribution, but their web pages were also important.

This is quite a change in business model, from retailer to mostly a distributor. The company can still be an asset to "indie" performers, but certainly not what it once was.
There is still a "download portal" link on the home page, so I can still access the albums I've purchased. But I don't see a way to buy additional albums. It appears they've completely closed off retail sales, but still service the downloads and download cards they've sold previously.
