Carly Gewirz sang this song on Facebook today, and I loved it. I found the words in the Digital Tradition, but they're not quite correct.

hank you for your kind words. Could you make some corrections in the mudcat listing of this song? I actually settled on calling it The Right Phrases, rather than Words. And the line in the third verse is “When I’m tired and everyone else needs a hand.” Also, my name is misspelled, a very common occurrence. I am flattered that someone felt it was worth adding it to the digital tradition, but I’d kind of like it to at least start out the way I wrote it. Of course, eventually the folk process will have its way!

Oh, one more thing. Folks liked singing along so much that I inserted the first verse between the second and third verses, so that the first verse repeats as a chorus. So it is verse 1, 2, 1, 3, 1. Thank you for taking care of this, and all of mudcat. It, and you, are treasures!
