So another great singer from my younger years has left the planet :
Max Merritt has just passed of the rare and serious autoimmune disease "Goodpasture Syndrome".

He was a Kiwi (born Christchurch) but we Aussie's claimed him (and his early band, the Meteors) as a Legend, coz that's just what we do with all the good ones!

Western Union Man / Slippin Away (no jokes just yet, please) / are probably his most well-remembered hits, but he was an excellent soul and rock singer/performer.
