Hello, everybody. San Francisco's Camp Harmony will be on Zoom this year, starting on Thursday, December 31 and running for four days. We will have three workshop periods per day, three sessions per period - so 9 sessions per day and a concert in the evening. Robert Rodriquez was the first to request workshops:

• Songs and Stories about Animal, Vegetable, and Mineral
• Heroes and Villains / Saints and Sinners
• Celebrating Holidays: Seasonal and Ritual

Dick Holdstock hopes to do a workshop on his long-awaited book.

There's a discrepancy between the dates you posted here and the dates on the San Francisco Folk Music Club webpage (https://www.sffmc.org/), which lists the dates as Dec. 29 through 31.

Is it a midweek event or a weekend celebration?

Hi, Charlie - maybe I jumped the gun, but I thought it had been officially decided to move the camp to Dec 31 and January 1, 2, and 3. There will be a camp committee meeting October 18, and I'll get confirmation then.

Well, whatever the case, I quit the camp committee tonight. Too dysfunctional for me, and too dominated by an elite "in crowd" who want to micromanage everything. The San Francisco Folk Music Club's annual New Years retreat, Camp Harmony, will be held via Zoom this year, and it is free to all! This year only, you don't even have to be a member of the club to attend, but you must register by December 29.

As usual, Camp Harmony will include dozens of workshops and jams, evening concerts and dances, plenty of opportunity to visit with friends old and new and a gala Midnight celebration New years Eve. Camp will run from Thursday evening December 31 through Sunday afternoon January 3.

It started Thursday evening, and today (Sunday) is the last day.
but you had to register by Dec 29.
Hope you can make it next year.
