Help: Hwy 61 Points of Interest

I'm driving from New Orleans to Chicago next week and I'd like to include a tour of Delta Blues country along the way. If someone could point me to some maps, other helpful resources or helpful suggestions I would appreciate it.

I'd be watching for all those telephones that don't ring. Could give you a flat. And try to overlook all the red, white, and blue, shoestrings littering the highway. Lots of other stuff along the road too. Seems to be quite a popular dumping ground for a lot of weird stuff.
