As well as the elusive Tony Burns, I believe the first photos of Davey, and Arnie Naiman are there as well. The extremely elusive Peter T. also joined us (sang a mean "Georgia") but like the wil-o-the-wisp he is, donned his cape, gloves and mask, and vanished into thin air when the camera came out. Duckboots may trim her bangs soon.

She IS Scottish, Don. Truthfully, I guess she'd had her fill of lawyers, doctors, CEOs, and computer programmers. Rather than move one step down in the pecking order and marry a dentist or a vet, she threw all the occupations into a hat. First one out was "folksinger", and cause the only one she'd ever heard of was Burl Ives, and he was rich.....she figured I must be too.

And I would reiterate that Duckboots is far lovelier than these pictures Rick keeps using of her...like the one in the last album.

I am really glad to finally see a picture of my buddy Don Meixner. Ya know Don you're right!!! Some of us have a lot of gray and I see you really don't. 'Course I also see that the hair on the top of your head seems to have slipped down over your face. or is it just a bad picture? Seems to have a lot of light reflecting from your scalp...or is that a halo?

Did you ever notice that when the men start talking about each other's pix, they point out the gray and receding ... women would never do that to each other. Now, ladies, don't make me eat my words. Guys, you're obviously obsessive/compulsive about the whole thing, so go buy a Lyle Waggoner or Ted Danson hairpiece, or an Eva Gabor wig if you want to go all out, and a Clairol or L'Oreal hair color kit and get jiggy with it. T'aint nothing to be ashamed of. My mudcat buds have already figured out not to get to cozy with my hair color because the next time they see me it will likely be different ... moonchild

lol, moonchild - actually its not fair to say women don't point out those those shortcomings in each other; women don't suffer male pattern baldness, and lord knows they never have grey hair (unintentionally, that is)!

When my eldest son was in his early teens he remarked one day, "Thank God women don't have beards." When I asked why he said, "Because imagine all the time they'd spend coloring and winding and shaping ... and imagine all the silly styles they'd have!"

I had to laugh when imagined it. I could just picture some wild beard dooos!

EXCEPT: I will say that baldness isn't nearly the turnoff some men must think it is, given the incredible lengths they go to to try and disguise the fact that their "pink spot" has grown and grown" (hush, Mr. Paw, I know what you're thinking). I mean, take a look, if you can bear it, at Donald Trump, the Comb-over King. You'd think someone with more money than the Lord Gawd A'Mighty could figure out that growing his hair down to his heinie, then combing it up to his forehead is not, well, attractive.

Maybe the hormonal connection is just that men who are bald have USED UP more of their testosterone and men who still have their hair haven't and ...

As a cheerfully balding guy I can tell you I'd rather shave it all off than look like a bad comeover or Zero Mostel. Except for Sean Connery I've never seen a good looking rug on anyone. There are always two tones and a definate color line as a give away.

Ive never heard any woman of my aquaintence say " Gee that Sean Connery should consider "The Hair Club." But then no one has ever told the Beautiful Bekkah(my daughter) that she could be real pretty if she cut her hair like Sinead O'Connor, excepy me ofcourse. Thank hevens she doesn't listen to me.

And there is that testosterone thing to think of , just ask my friend...... never mind.

Lest I be misunderstood ... my personal feeling about hair is that "I'm not married to it." I don't agree with the bald=more testosterone theory, from personal experience. I do, however, think that bald men are sexy. I also think that men with beards are sexy. I also think that men with hair are sexy. I also think that bald, hairy, men with beards are sexy. If a man can make me laugh (in a good way) and if he's kind, he's about 3/4 the way there, even if he isn't a hottie. (Of course, I try not to hold being gorgeous against 'em, but, all things being equal, I'd vote for kind and funny over gorgeous and spiritually thin any day).
