Subject: Martin Windham Read From: Judy G Date: 09 Jan 00 - 11:07 PM Howdy folks, Does Martin Windham Read have a website? |
Subject: RE: Help: Martin Windham Read From: Sandy Paton Date: 09 Jan 00 - 11:50 PM Best I can suggest is the page maintained about Martyn by Musica Pangaea. CLICK HERE (hopoe that works). If you want to search further, spell it Martyn Wyndham-Read. Sandy |
Subject: RE: Help: Martin Windham Read From: Liz the Squeak Date: 10 Jan 00 - 10:48 AM You could try Fellside Records as well. LTS |
Subject: RE: Help: Martin Windham Read From: Date: 10 Jan 00 - 02:02 PM Yes, I was going to suggest the Music Pangaea site, but Sandy Paton got there first.
Martin Nail's excellent site of information about English folk music - Martin Nail's has a good list of sites for singers and musicians active in Engkland, and this site for Martin Wyndham Read is included. |
Subject: RE: Help: Martin Windham Read From: Judy G Date: 10 Jan 00 - 11:35 PM Dear Sandy, Liz the Squeak and Unknown Helpful Person, Thanx for info. If I'd look at his CD cover maybe I'd know I spelled his name wrong. |
Subject: RE: Help: Martin Windham Read From: Judy Predmore Date: 11 Jan 00 - 12:10 AM Don't know where any of you live, but Martyn Wyndham-Read, (his name is spelled wrong even on at least one of his CD's), will be touring the Northeast U.S. 3/9/00 - 3/29/00. The info will probably be on his Musica Pangea web site, but probably not for a few weeks yet, as his agent is still finalizing dates. He will probably be in Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, & probably the NYC area & more. |
Subject: RE: Help: Martin Windham Read From: Smeebes Date: 11 Jan 00 - 05:49 AM Martyn W-R is appearing at the Cheltenham Folk Festival, first weekend of February 2000 (that's in the U.K.). Don't know more because I've mislaid the mail-shot that told me so. |
