HEADS UP.. FELLOW FOLKIES...
Eddi Reader here... I have been asked to present 4 shows on every Sunday in February on a Classical radio station called SCALA. The wanted to explore with me the connections and links between Folk music tradition and European classical tradition.
I found lots that surprised me. Listen in if you wish and please contribute any ideas that you feel merits attention.

I've never been able to find Scala. Is it a digital station or on FM?

Scala is on DAB. I just had to retune to get it, so presumably added in the last year or so.

It's not available outside the UK, though.
