I'm not sure of that this is the name of the song but one line I remember is - And there upon the gilded poop stood Mr Doyle in Gorgeous Rainment. My dear friend Chris Andreeti used sing this whilst drunk to much hilarity

It is called "Johnny Doyle" and if you google that you should get at least one version credited to the singing of Frank Harte. I have also heard it performed by Donal Maguire and Tigerfolk regular Al Atkinson.
Paddy Doyle is a shanty more commonly known as "Paddy Doyle's Boots"
